Annotated Bibliography: These sources must include at least four articles retrieved from one of the library’s online databases, one print or e-book (if possible), and one website. The remaining sources can be whichever type you prefer. Create a bibliography (works cited) with your sources, and provide a 2- to 5-sentence annotation for each one that answer the following questions:

¨The author’s main point(s) (What is the author trying to say?)

¨The author’s intended audience (Who is the author writing for?)

¨The main type(s) of support used by the author(s) (How does the author support the main point?)

¨The overall effectiveness of the article/text (Is it useful for your research project? If so, how? If not, why not?)

Summary paragraph: Your title should begin with Annotated Bibliography: After the colon (:), you need to include a creative title. On the line beneath your title, you should begin a short paragraph in which you summarize your educational and career goals. In this paragraph, you should include the following:

Identification of your transfer school AND program and reasons for your choice.

Description of your career goals, including what you believe will be your job description and examples of places you could work. You should also provide reasons for your choice.

Audience: While your primary audience will be your instructor, you are the person who will most benefit from the information you find.

Constraints: This is not a traditional research project; however, you should still follow typical academic guidelines, such as MLA formatting (8th edition), academic/formal language, logical organization and flow.
