Company Profile
This scenario presents a private company that is about to enter into a business contract
with a technology firm. The supplier company provides technological gadgets to be used in the
various company processes like employee identification and the preparation of the various
accounting and financial documents. Software management and other technology-related
operations the company wants to enhance the technology infrastructure it has been using to
remain competitive and ensure that the company operations comply with the changes in the
industry (Greenberg, Lahiri, Maltz, Patel, Sengupta, Jain & Kim, 2016).
Google LLC deals in the internet related services like online advertising technologies,
search engine, cloud computing software and hardware in the computers. The company is
considered to be among the big four alongside amazon Apple and Facebook. The company has
over 100,000 employees which are due to the intensity of the work in the company and the size
of the business organization. Due to the technological changes that have taken place in the
industry, the company is considering improving the operations to embrace technology in the
operations. The future of the company looks quite promising because the company seems to be
adapting to the changes which seem to make the need for the companies to implement the

Google is a multinational company that is the most used search engine all the world. It
started in 1995. It has provided a system whereby one can search for any information they need
in the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and the information will be provided within micro
seconds. It started as a web- based search engine. Over the years it has developed to offer other
information systems-based services such as Google News, Gmail, Google maps, Google

Chrome, Advertising services, communication and publishing tools and many other services,
(Schoeb, T. R., 2017).
Today, Google has really developed to a highly respectable business being the leading
search engine in the world. Nearly every part of the world other Than China uses Google. This
has made it to be preferred by most people to gain knowledge and this mostly due to its
efficiency when it comes to delivering information. Most people use google to learn directions
due to the fact that that it provides google maps that other search engines do not provide. The
company has also been able to solve a lot of problems in colleges, at homes, in businesses and in
many other platforms as all the information that these platforms may need is available in google.
Currently, the company has been exposed to a lot of advanced technologies for instance,
the modern form of taxis such as the Uber mode of transport. This has made the Google to
update some of its products in its play store so as to meet the demand of its customers all over
the world. A lot of business networking has been conducted thus making it easy for the company
to come up with new services that require remote client project. This is whereby, all google
services are readily available even in remote areas as long as the area has internet accessibility.
Google services have also been of use to students when it comes to their studies. There
assignments are easy to do now as google also has YouTube that provides tutorials for them to
learn even the complex concepts. Businesses also use Google to learn about useful models that
they can implement to make their businesses better. Looking for information has basically
become so easy to everyone and this is very critical because google also has options where one
can search for information using whatever language they prefer and this is due to the advanced
software that google has been able to put in place, (Orcutt, R. P. 2017).

The vision for this business is that, the services of the company will be available to every
business, household and schools globally. To all those people that cannot access internet perhaps
due to the fact that the areas are not developed or electricity is too costly to access google should
be able to provide network to those places. Google should be able to accomplish this vision by
2030. Google would also like to start schools that train about search engines and other
information system related programs so that even more skills to improve Google services can be
discovered and implemented. Google would also like to reach other institutions around the world
that have problems with accessing internet so that they can provide to them the internet services
which later will help the students to be more enlightened and come out to the market place to
make the world a better place. (Desfray, P., 2014).
How Google will plan to achieve the vision is by, creating awareness of the importance
of using it all over the world. Google would like to establish subsidiaries all over the world, this
will help to ensure that its products are easily accessible to everyone. Google would also like to
establish schools all over the world as well to train about different software. Google would also
help people understand the importance of using search engines over depending on books on
getting the information and other search engines such as Yahoo who are Googles main
competitors. Among the advantages of using google include, google is faster and also it provides
a variety of services that are very efficient (Edelman, B., 2014).

Network Enterprise Architecture Review
Current Environment
Google LLC Corporation has been performing well in the industry since its inception,
this has been clear from the company financial reports and the performance which has made the
company be among the best technology companies globally. The transformation taking place
currently in the technology sector requires the companies to adopt the new technology being
used in the assembly process. Google being a technology company has some of the most
efficient technology equipment and this has seen the company perform so well in the past years.
The Google organization that I will use as a basis for my project is the G Suite. This is a
cloud computing brand; collaboration and productivity tools, products and software that is
established by Google. It incorporates hangouts, Gmail, Google Drive, calendar, sheets, docs,
slides, sites, and forms for collaboration. Also depending on the plan, it may include admin vault
and panel for managing the services and users. It also consists of the digital interactive
whiteboard jam board and the app maker for app development. It has added enterprise features,
which makes me believe it is the best platform to use for my project.
Researched/Evaluated Various Enterprise Architecture Framework Models Available
As a framework, network enterprise architecture may be vague as it is meant to address
the entire company, rather than the individual problems, needs or business units. Several
frameworks, therefore, exist to assist organizations in planning and tracking of EAP effectively.
Below is a list of the available enterprise network architecture models:
1. TOGAF This presents the principles for planning, designing, governing, and implementing
enterprise IT architecture (Chorafas, 2016). This framework assists businesses in establishing a
standardized method to enterprise architecture with general vocabulary, compliance methods,
recommended standards, suggested software and tools as well as a method for defining the best

practices. TOGAF is broadly popular for being the best enterprise architect framework model,
which has been adopted by more than 85 per cent of the leading enterprises in the world.
2. Zachman Enterprise Architecture framework This model is named after a famous, founder of
EA. It is also a popular EA framework. According to CompTIA, it is well understood as a
taxonomy. It spans six major stakeholders and six architecture central points to assist in
standardizing and defining the IT architecture outputs and components.
3. FEAF This framework was introduced as a response for the Clinger-Cohen act in 1996 that
introduced the warrant for the effectiveness of IT in the federal agencies. It is primarily designed
for the U.S government, although it can be applied in private firms, which desire to utilize this
framework.
4. Gartner This model developed EAP best practices after obtaining the Meta group in the year
2005, where it adapted these practices into the firms general consulting practices (Szigeti et al.
2018). While this framework is not a personal model, CompTIA has recognized it as a practical
framework, which focuses on business outcomes with less explicit components or steps.
Evaluated Frameworks Currently Used for Enterprise Network Architecture
The frameworks that are currently used in my organization are TOGAF and Zachman.
This is because TOGAF is utilized in various domains, providing an extensive and flexible
framework, which underpins a set of generic deliverables for architecture. Zachman is also being
used as it directs one into effective autonomous enterprise partitions that is a crucial approach for
managing complexity. It also sets up a catalogue for architectural assets, which may be re-used
in future.

Recommended Appropriate Framework
However, it would be hard to state the best framework. Therefore, for my organization, I
would recommend that it utilizes a blended approach, which will involve creating our own EA
framework incorporating pieces and bits of each framework, which offer the highest value in the
particular sector of concern.
Explanation of My Organizations EA Business and Processes Needs
A major lump of TOGAF is devoted to the techniques used to create engineering ancient
rarities, called the ADM (Architectural Development Method). The Content Framework
determines a wide arrangement of ideas. Moreover, different models in the TOGAF give
considerably more. The choice of using a blended approach will meet the businesses and
processes needs for Google as it will ensure the team for enterprise architecture is relevant both
at strategic and tactical levels. They will also ensure proximity to business delivery, thus meeting
all the business and process needs.

Google Limited Liability Company is an American multinational technology company.
Google LLC mostly specialize in delivering services through internet-related products (Glukhov,
Ilin & Iliashenko, 2016). These services can include hardware, software, search engine,
advertisement, and cloud storage. There are four common viewpoints in Google LLC, which
include, the business process, data flow, network application, and last but not least, technology
components.
Business Architecture View
The Business architecture view is concerned with the performance of google LLC, its
function, and suitability. Moreover, the business view helps in addressing users concern,
managers, and planners. Also, the business architecture view acts as an insight of all general
operation in the company concerning its main activities (Chorafas, 2016). The analysis section
will ensure that the various processes in the business run accordingly. Due to the size of the
company, it may be quite challenging to run all the processes smoothly, it is, therefore, important
to ensure that the organization system is designed to analyze the system and ensure there are no
cases of breakdown or so.
People View: At Google LLC, the people view is an aspect of the human resource department.
And at this viewpoint, the human actors in the company are examined. These human actors can
include the shareholders as the domain architects, the managers, employee, and consumers.
Business Process View: This viewpoint involves all user process involved in in the organization.
This can include the protocols, the management level, and the process of designing. As a limited
liability company, Google has a right to carry out all transactions, tax payment, bank accounts,
and business, all under its name.
NETWORK ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE PLAN
10
Business Performance View: At Google LLC, this viewpoint aims at determining the
performance aspect of the company. Mostly this viewpoint is carried out by the finance
department, and the managerial department. For example, the share performance of google has
been dropping whining the last five days marking a 3.18% drop.
The most used business methodology at the business architecture view at Google LLC is
the business scenario (Chorafas, 2016). The managers and other stakeholders in this view, use
the model to depict what could happen after the introduction of a new product or service and in
case of any planned or unplanned events.
Data Architecture View
This view is concerned with the database designs and its administration. Also, the data
architecture view helps in the implementation data flow process and its impact on the users in
general. The analysis will also monitor the various data flow processes to ensure they are
following the organization objectives. Since the objective of the organization is to ensure
effective services in the technology field. So the EA that deals will the data analysis will also
carry out the data flow monitoring process.
Data Flow View: At the company, this view deals with data security against any cyber-attacks,
storage of data, and retrieval of important lost data. Moreover, the data flow view checks the data
flow from the time of input, stored, procession, and output.
Software Engineering View: This view double-checks the market to find out if they are the
existing opportunities for the company or any advanced system that can be used to ensure better
customer satisfaction. Besides, this view provides references to the existing system.
System Engineering View: this view presents ways in which the organization software and
hardware are assembled to bring out a working system. Through this, the system engineering

view looks at the present technology in the organization and the available improvement
technology in the market to make Google LLC more productive and efficient (Rebovich &
White, 2016).
The main stakeholders are security engineers, communication engineers, database
designers, and administrators. The most common model in this view is the database system
whereby the relationship of each entry is provided, and each model impact and financial gain and
loss is measured.
Technological Architecture View
This architecture view addresses the concerns of managers, operators, engineers, and
acquirers. The technological architecture view plays a major part in google LLC. Moreover, the
view helps the company to work efficiently and compete with its competitors. The heavy use of
technology has made the company to be considered as one of the top four giants companies
(Rebovich & White, 2016). Google LLC is a technology company; it is therefore quite obvious
that the company will come up with several components to ensure its effective running. The
components will be put in place to ensure that every part of the organization system is well
designed to perform its function accordingly.
Communication Engineering View: This viewpoint examine at all possible communication
facilities can be optimized through structuring. The company has invested heavy at this
viewpoint since most of its services involve the communication of customers devices and the
database available of the information in the google cloud.
Acquires View: This viewpoint addresses the producers guidance for the purchase of
equipment. The main aim of the acquirer is the budget constraint and the standard of equipment.
NETWORK ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE PLAN

The main stakeholders in this view are the engineers. The most common model is the
open system interconnection (OSI), which is used in data communication in the company
(Glukhov, Ilin & Iliashenko, 2016). The OSI has seven layers, which are interdependent.
Therefore, the lower layer provides services to the layer above it.
Network Application View
The network application viewpoint shows how applications are supported. Moreover, it
shows the communication between the software and hardware. Google LLC has invested heavily
on network devices like a satellite. This will also be a significant part of the process because
several system applications are designed to ensure that the organization system is running
accordingly. The applications will be analyzed to ensure there are no cases of a breakdown in the
system that may compromise the operations in any way.
Communication View: This architecture view shows how the data flow from one device to the
other. The network devices like the router must give proper communication to achieve optimum
function.
Statistics Flow View: Statistics Flow management is the heart of the network architecture view.
Statistics Flow process helps in achieving the best outcome of the network application view from
input to the last step of output. Moreover, a hub can be used to enhance communication from
different branches of the company.
The logical data model is used in the network architecture viewpoint. This ensures that
each command input is different from the rest, and the repetition of data is not allowed. The key
stakeholders, in this case, are the engineers.
