It’s time for you to look for
scholarly articles on your own, and discuss them in the form of a short
literature review. The main purpose of a literature review is to identify a
problem, trend, or gap in the research literature on a given topic. Your review
will identify 4 scholarly articles that suggest alternative methods of
information/knowledge dissemination (alternative to the traditional journal
system), similar to the Ross-Hellauer et al. article we looked at in class, and
synthesize the information presented in those articles. The 3-4 page
paper should include the following:
1.
An introduction briefly summarizing your paper.
2. A
review of the four articles in the form of a synthesis.
3. A
conclusion in which you identify the problem, trend, or gap in the ideas
presented in those articles.
