Need help with my Philosophy question – I’m studying for my class.

Assignment 1: – Think Piece #4

You go to your doctor because you have been experiencing severe headaches for the past month. After an extensive and thorough examination (with lab work and the whole nine yards!!!) the doctor sits down with you in her office and gives you the news. Her diagnosis: you are “stressing.” You are relieved, until you hear what she is prescribing for you. You are to meditate 3 times a day for 15 minutes. During these periods of meditation, you are to remove yourself from other people, light a candle, and sit staring at the candle. At the end of 15 minutes, you can return to your normal activities. The prescription for meditation is for three months. You are to return in three months and she will evaluate you again and, perhaps, refill the prescription.

You tell your mother this. Your mother decides to write a letter to your doctor. Your think piece is your mother’s letter to your doctor.

(Get it??? You have to imagine that you are your mother and write the letter from her perspective, using her logic or modes of thinking. Take the scenario seriously.)
